History

Sapro Temizlik Ürünleri Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. who established in 1997 by Ceyhun Zincirkıran and Mehmet Gündoğdu carries out its activities in a vertically integrated plant. The plant has been designed for hygienic production in the direction of European Commission regulations and equipped with “smart building” technology.

Sapro, who has been serving with private label production to the entire world since it was established, has become the only one company which produces its own raw materials in Europe by beginning to produce Nonwoven in its plants as of 2017.

Tetra A.Ş., which implements corrugated and printing production, Multipak A.Ş., which implements plastic production, and Lotus Teknik A.Ş., which implements nonwoven production, are included in group companies of Sapro which has the capacity of responding to customer’s needs profoundly flexible by having the facility of manufacturing its own paper, parcel, cover and displays.  Sapro carries out the production with state-of-the-art technology converting – packaging machines and collection department with automation according to GMP rules.

In Sapro, wet wipes are manufactured for personal care, household cleaning, car care, patient care, pet care, industrial usage etc. and 75% of the production are being exported to six continents, especially European countries being in the first place.  Production facilities of Sapro which is on the top of the list by far in wet wipe exportation consist of towel, household, pocket handkerchief, single handkerchief and box filling groups and produces for 1000 different trademarks.

Women employment rate in Sapro is 45%.

Sapro, has been placed in ISO 500 Large Industry Corporation list with the income of 2017.  Sapro is the biggest 221st exporter of Turkey.

On the other hand, Sapro, which is one of the biggest companies of Europe in its sector, is one of the 250 companies implementing most R&D investments in Turkey.
