Sapro Temizlik Ürünleri San. ve Tic A.Ş., which has begun trading activities in 1997, celebrates 20th anniversary this year. Sapro, established with the partnership of Ceyhun Zincirkıran and Mehmet Gündoğdu, has succeeded to become the biggest wet wipe manufacturer of Turkey with its market share over 40 percent in the last 20 years. Sapro has been exporting 75 percent of its production since it was established and implements exportation activities to more than 60 countries.
Sapro, carrying out business in Private Label area, implements production for over one thousand 152 different trademarks in the world. Sapro, Turkey’s the biggest 252th exporter company, has the 20th place in the most exporting companies list registered in exporter union (IKMIB). Sapro is export leader by far in its area of activities.
Sapro is the biggest 496th company of Turkey and focuses on quality and hygiene in the production.
Sapro carries out business in an integrated factory which has 35thousand meter square closed area in Ortaköy-Silivri. Factory has the capacity of manufacturing 120 million sheets daily and has the storage area of 10 thousand pallets.
Sapro has been interested in wet wipes since the day it was established and carries out business in every area of wet wipe sector. It is one of the rare companies having the widest product range not only in Turkey but also in the world. Sapro has been growing in two digit numbers each year and aims to grow with two digit numbers again this year and next year. Sapro brings Hops, which is its own brand, with Turkish consumers.
75 percent of production is exported
It is a company that exports approximately 75% of its production since the day it was established. Sapro exports to 62 countries, most of them being EU countries. It continues to rise through the list of the biggest 1000 exporter of Turkey which is published each year. It has been on the first place by far in wet wipe export for years. Sapro focuses on quality and hygiene, responding to request in at least one day and customer satisfaction to be permanent in the markets to which it exports. Thanks to this principle, Sapro products are being sold in 63 countries of the world, including Turkey. But Sapro also wants to conquer other countries in which its products are not sold. Sapro has determined its game area as “Whole world” and focuses on these studies.
1 percent of turnover goes into Research & Development
Sapro is one of the most investing companies of Turkey in not only wet wipe sector but also R&D throughout Turkey.
Thus, it is placed within 250 companies investing to R&D most. 35 chemical engineers and 5 biologists are working in R&D department of Sapro. Sapro has 4 chemical analysis, microbiology laboratory, entry control and graphic units. Sapro continues its way without losing the title of being strong, innovative, technological and the most dynamic company.
Sapro allocates 1 percent of its turnover into R&D studies. Thanks to investments into R&D, Sapro becomes the first manufacturer of innovative products. The sector in which Sapro carries out business advances rapidly and Sapro is part of this advancement instead of keeping pace with it.

Manufactures its own raw material
Sapro carries out hourly shipments to every location of Turkey and Europe and responds to the needs of customers in this area by having the ability of producing paper, parcel, cover and displays. Tetra A.Ş. carries out parcel and package production, Multipak A.Ş. carries out plastic production, and Lotus Teknik A.Ş. carries out nonwoven production included in group companies of Sapro. As of 2017 the company started to manufacture nonwoven in its own plants and became the only company in Europe that can produce its own raw material.
