Next Generation Fabric with
the Strength of Spunlace and Soul of a Wetlaid!
The DNA of a nonwoven spunlace fabric with remarkable strength in all directions as well as the dispersibility and softness of the most desirable wetlaid come together in this next generation fabric. The production process, the first and only used by Sapro in the world, combines the benefits of two technologies: Wetlace and Spunlace. Natural fibers are processed smoothly and generate a high-performance wipe. It is produced by leaving 14% less carbon footprint when compared to generic viscose. Moreover, when you throw it away, it returns to nature faster than generic viscose thanks to the bond structure.

This process combines the benefits of two technologies: Wetlace and Spunlace. Natural fibers are processed smoothly and generate a high-performance and sustainable wipe. We obtained a fabric with higher strength when compared to Wetlaid, but the feeling is as perfect as Spunlace.
Since some of the components directly go into production without any pre-processing, we leave 14% less carbon footprint. Moreover, it can return to nature faster than generic viscose thanks to the bond structure. We named this premium sustainable next-generation viscose fabric Newipe®.
