The goal of our Research and Development team is to contribute to our sustainable business strategy by developing environmentally friendly innovative products that meet consumer needs. For this reason; We closely examine consumer expectations and the sources of our content and work on actions to improve our production methods.
When the ingredients used in our product, the ingredients are completely decomposed into organic substances that can be reabsorbed by the earth's natural cycles without causing any harm. For this purpose, we develop fabric, solution and packaging options with natural ingredients and continue our efforts to make 100% biodegradable components.
As Sapro, we support against deforestation by ensuring that the forest products we supply come from controlled industrial forests. We produce our wet wipes using raw materials with FSC®, PEFC and RSPO certificates in our raw materials, nonwovens, chemicals containing palm oil and corrugated cardboard.
We aim to make our plastic-containing products reusable or cost-effectively recyclable by 2030, in line with EU Commission-enforced regulations. We design our plastic packaging according to the OPRL guidelines, How2Recycle, the European Parliament and the ASTM International and SUP Directive on packaging waste.
We continue our efforts for a more sustainable environment by taking continuous steps in waste management, wastewater management, reducing our carbon dioxide gas emissions and energy management.
